History
NG Global was established in 2017 as a black owned business with a vision to bridge the gap between commodity producers and global markets, focusing on quality and reliability. Since its inception, the company has steadily grown, expanding its operations and diversifying its portfolio to meet the evolving needs of the commodity trading sector. Over the years, NG Global has built a strong foundation in the mining and trading industry, earning the trust of partners and clients through consistent performance and adherence to international standards. A key milestone in our journey has been the export of over 11 million metric tons of coal to more than 15 countries, a testament to our operational excellence and global reach. NG Global is dedicated to empowering the communities it serves through its non-profit initiative, the NG Global Foundation, which supports historically disadvantaged individuals in mining communities through education, health, and sustainable development programs.

Danie Roodt is our Group Human Resources Manager, bringing extensive experience from the mining sector. Yugesh Chetty is our Finance Manager, bringing extensive financial insight and a disciplined approach to budgeting and reporting. Nokuthula Hlatshwayo
Nokuthula Hlatshwayo, Executive Head of Rail and Ports, brings 25 years of experience from Transnet to our team. She’s a seasoned leader in logistics and infrastructure, known for driving efficiency across complex transport networks. Her deep industry knowledge ensures our rail and port operations run with precision and purpose.
Cornelius Visser
Cornelius Visser is our Logistics Manager, specialising in railway siding operations and end-to-end transport coordination. With hands-on experience and a sharp eye for efficiency, he ensures smooth, cost-effective movement of goods. His expertise keeps our logistics running on track and on time.
Daniel Sambo
Daniel Sambo is our Senior Site Supervisor, known for his strong leadership and attention to detail on the ground. He oversees daily site operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Daniel’s experience ensures projects stay on schedule and standards stay high.
